Opera Electra and Berenice 30 april Markideion theatre, Paphos

Featuring soprano Katerina Mina, under the baton of Yiorgos Kountouris, the CySO presents two dramatic operatic scenes

by Mozart and Haydn, sung by two tragic women from ancient history: Electra and Berenice.

Both compositions aptly express the agitated psychological state of the two women.

In the same programme the esoteric work Epitaphium by Andreas Moustoukis

and Beethoven's luminous and energetic 8th Symphony will be presented.
